Say hello to Hillary Clinton. She writes, "I'm in. And I'm in to win. Today I am announcing that I will form an exploratory committee to run for president. And I want you to join me not just for the campaign but for a conversation about the future of our country -- about the bold but practical changes we need to overcome six years of Bush administration failures. I am going to take this conversation directly to the people of America, and I'm starting by inviting all of you to join me in a series of web chats over the next few days. The stakes will be high when America chooses a new president in 2008."
Here's the link to her video announcement.

Western Democrat: "With Montana and Wyoming thinking about moving their primaries up to February 5, 2008 (joining Arizona, New Mexico and Utah) there is a real chance of an Western Primary. We need enough Western States to vote on February 5 to make the day meaningful, in the same way that the Super Tuesday Southern primary made the South a force in the late 80s and early 90s. But, Illinois is thinking of bringing its 133 delegates to the February 5 party, all because of one candidate."

Statesman.com: "New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson intends to take the initial step toward the Democratic nomination for the 2008 presidential election, hoping his extensive résumé will fuel his campaign to become the first Hispanic president. Richardson plans to announce Sunday that he will soon file the papers to create a presidential exploratory committee, several officials with knowledge of his plans said.
