Rob Fahrni asks: Will the stupidity ever end? Now Be has decided to sue Microsoft, hey why not Apple? Apple computers come pre-installed with Apple OS don't they? And didn't Apple kill off the clone vendors.
They sue Micro$oft because:
1) Everybody is doing it
2) They have more money than Apple
That is Lawsuits 101 in Law School!
No, the stupidity will never end...

OS maker files suit against Microsoft. Operating system maker Be sues the software giant for alleged anti-competitive practices that may have stunted the growth of its business. [CNET News.com]

I like to
eat, being comfortable,
being healthy,
receive the approval of others,
have money,
avoid seeing ugly things.
but this is not why I live.
To do what really interests me
I can not eat, have problems,
receive criticism, not having a single dollar,
see a ton of ugly things.
It's the same.

Not All Asian E-Mail Is Spam. E-mail from China, Korea and Taiwan contains a great deal of spam, so much so systems administrators are blocking all posts from their systems. That means some legitimate messages aren't being delivered, too. By Michelle Delio. [Wired News]
I actually have a mail filter for any mail from Argentina (.ar) and further filters for emails of people I actually know with a .ar email. The first filter sends the message to the trash, the others puts it back into InBox if it is from a known address.

Is Microsoft getting ahead of itself?. As the software giant prepares to launch the first trials of its .Net My Services, key details of the plan are still "not figured out." [CNET News.com]GM is one of the largest consumers of information technology products and services in the world. The company, which will spend more than $1.8 billion on information technology in North America alone this year, holds considerable sway over Microsoft and other tech companies.
I guess it's the blind leading the overambitious then.

I got a response from Google about my inquiry to develop to their XML interface. I will be sure to send them a *detailed* proposal. After hell freezes over. [Scripting News]
I hope this reflects only a misguided Google employee and not a downward trend for Google.
