Gates' videotaped testimony the last time around was particularly damning to Microsoft. He avoided answering questions directly and was clearly caught lieing, or at least contradicting his own emails. This is MS trying desparately to spin Gates as helpful and cooperative. Good luck! Jonathan Lu, a Canadian studying at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., wrote to The Globe and Mail to express his rage at the way students at the college treated the news of the loss of Canadian lives in Afghanistan.
"Although some have expressed sympathy and feel ashamed at the incompetence of the military, by far the more common reaction is to treat it as a joke," he wrote.
