Robert Fisk again shows his hatred of Israel by only suggesting that Israel could be behind the killing of Elie Hobeika to prevent him from testifying against Ariel Sharon in the Belgian War Crime trial. Not once does he mention the "Lebanese for a Free and Independent Lebanon" group that took credit, or the possibility that a Lebanese or Syrian party killed Hobeika to prevent him from stating embarrassing facts during the trial.

Facts shouldn’t stand in the way of a good story.

The Wall Street Journal is attacking Canada over its lack of large transport planes needed to carry vehicles to Afghanistan. These larger planes are needed to carry the Coyote Armed Vehicles that the US Army specifically asked to be brought over for their advanced reconnaissance capability.

Rather than the Wall Street Journal might want to thank Canada for sending troops to be used to join the US Army troops at Kandahar, unlike most other countries.

Slashdot.org looks at various reactions to Microsoft’s security announcement. Of interest to the Weblog community is Bruce Schneier and Adam Shost’s pronouncement that Microsoft SOAP should be cancelled as part of securing Windows.

If peoples' bonuses are linked to the security of their products the MS Paint team is sitting pretty.
