BTVS: The Last Season Sarah Michelle Gellar has declined to take part in another season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As a result the show will end in May as creator Joss Whedon has hoped. There is no word yet on the fate of Angel or the possiblity of other Buffy spin-offs. 9:54:17 PM

Sci Fi Wire reports that Marvel is suing Sony Pictures Entertainment over a licensing related to last year’s top grossing Spider-Man. Meanwhile Marvel has been sued by Spider-Man creator Stan Lee for not sharing its’ Spider-Man profits. 9:46:50 PM

The march of Daniel Libeskind's giant crystals and angular designs continues as New York City has chosen his design for the World Trade Center site. The design calls for a cluster of sloping, angular buildings including a 541-metre spire that would be the tallest in the world. 9:36:40 PM
