Washington Post has noted that US senator John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee for President has contacted French-born corporate consultant G. Clotaire Rapaille on getting advice on how to beat President Bush in the upcoming election. The article, which repeats the myth that Naomi Wolf advised Al Gore on what to wear does not note that Rapaille is one of the people most responsible for the ever increasing size and ferocious appearance of sport utility vehicles.

Having won in Detroit maybe Rapaille will next win in Washington D.C.

Salon.com has an article (ad viewing or subscription required) on the impact of disgraced USA Today reporter Jack Kelley’s lies and fabricated stories. By creating stories such as drowning Cuban refugees, a Pakistani youth who wants to destroy the Sears Tower, and Jewish terrorists who want to kill Arabs he distorted people’s understanding of real events and causes hatred towards people portrayed as bad or evil in these fake accounts.

He also creates fake news that will probably never leave the net. (fix the link as needed, I’m not linking to them)
