By a roundabout route from Salon.com I came across this excellent article from the London Times which cogently argues that current US policy runs the risk of alienating the rest of the world. I wonder if Dubyu reads foreign newspapers? Steven Vore has kindly pointed out to me that the link above doesn't work now. Furthermore, archiving on The Times site is not the best.
