"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

My typography manifesto: "You alone can't stop global warming or terrorism or fascism, but you have a choice when you make a line of text: you can humiliate yourself and the reader, and contribute to all that is wretched, or you can do something uplifting."

Not to mince words....

Crooked Judges in the Texas Supreme Court [tpj.org]: "Then there is the $370,360 in campaign money that the sitting justices took from Halliburton and its law firm."

Do judges wear those robes to hide the bags of cash they take from people who want to win court decisions?

At the very least, the Bush gang did not keep up the fight against terrorism. Having failed us, they should go.

When you remember what their National Security Council priorities actually were -- pipelines, Enron, etc. -- it's even more clear they should go.
