All these cracks about Cheney hiding in his "undisclosed location" to avoid subpoenas turn out to be *true*! cnsnews.com.
[7:42:36 PM]

What if Cheney had stayed on at Halliburton? First, he would have been fired when the business deal he took personal credit for wiped out most of the stock value of the company. If he had managed to survive that, he would have been fired for the stock scam his Andersen buddies created.

Dear Palestine:
You don't have to go along with the endless war. Use non-violent direct action to throw the Israelis out of your country, and build a democratic state. It will be more difficult because of your Palestinian war-mongers, but you will win your country, and peace.
Point out to Israelis that you want justice, and in return the Israelis will have peace and prosperity. Above all, don't wait for Bush to force Sharon to change.
You should create a bridge to the Israelis, who are also suffering. Maybe attend their funerals? What if all Palestinians *stopped* for a minute to signify a desire for peace?
Let the experience of Nablus be your guide. Even Israelis can't kill fast enough to defeat non-violent citizens. Non-violence requires great bravery, of course, and war-mongers on both sides will try to thwart your efforts. But you are stronger than they.

Houston (Licentious) -- Kenny Boy Lay had this to say after Bush's highly publicized signing of the corporate crime bill: "But he was wearing the tie I gave him."

Quote of the day: "No more easy money for corporate criminals, just hard time." Ha, ha, ha. Little George is doing his best to put the satirists out of business. How could you possibly satirize a statement like that by a member of the Bush mafia? Ho, ho, ho. Like Neil, Dick, W., Poppy, James III, Kenny Boy, Jeb, or *anybody* is going to do any "time". But "hard time"?
Oh, what the heck: let's take the Dullard up on his offer: the chain-gang for these thieving bastards! Hanging's too good for them.

Back from vacation.
It was a relief to be away from the news. There was only CNN.
The stock market is in such a sorry state, they can't afford to terrorize us about potential terrorist threats. That's the good news.
The bad news is they switch to playing up the war on Iraq. They need the build-up to the war quick -- by election time, lest the Grand Old Kleptocracy lose the House. The problem is that a war on Iraq will sink the economy, not just the stock market. All the Bush cronies are selling short, while they tell the American people to buy, or at least hold.
The worse news is that a build-up to war in Iraq might not be enough. Looks like they want to start the war by October. (They don't have to *finish* the war. Endless wars are essential.)
Apparently Little George isn't having much fun lately. It's hard to cover things up. Especially if you're personally an idiot and a drunkard. Last time Little George went on vacation for a month, we got September 11, and he got his trifecta. Seems like the best we can hope for is a war on Iraq and recession.
Once I was out of the country, at least one thing was more clear: Bush protected Bin Laden while Bin Laden prepared for September 11. Bush continued to protect Bin Laden's supporters. Bush should be impeached for treason. That's *very* simple. Bin Laden had already attacked the United States. Bin Laden was known to be planning further attacks. Bush prevented the FBI and other organizations from protecting us from Bin Laden. Bush is a traitor. Bush may think accounting isn't entirely black and white, but treason is -- in this case.
