"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Looks like Graham is a shoe-in for VP-nomination in 2004. Winning Florida might be a good enough reason to put him in the top spot. We need to win.

Democrats just need to figure out how to keep Rove from beating us with his phony wars, and how to fight when the Republican Corporate Media propaganda lies and distorts 24x7 -- anything for Rove and War.

If someone would abandon his tutu, winning wouldn't be that hard. Corrupt campaign contributions only help the dark-side if everyone pretends like policy by bribery is acceptable. Just list big Republican donations next to what they bought, and how much it cost the American people.

Wonderfully warm days around San Francisco! Yesterday I tromped around downtown SF again. Out of the wind, you wouldn't need a jacket.

The excitement of the day was buying "Grid Systems / Raster Systeme" by Josef Mueller-Brockman.

Good Grief! What's this about Frist being a kitty-killer? As a med student he would go to shelters and pretend he wanted a pet, but then butcher it as surgery practice? Does that trump Dim Dubya's childhood practice of blowing up live frogs?

At least Trent Lott didn't practice surgery on blacks. (At least Frist only used cats.)

Sadly, the Dimwit has graduated from frogs to people.

Kitty Killers for Kongress!

Fort Hood, Texas (licentious) -- Military deserter George W. Bush received cheers for calling the US army the "finest in the world". The crowd of 4,000, under strict orders to applaud and not raise questions responded loudly to praise, but was dead silent when Bush spoke of the coming war "for peace".

"Some of you white trash, blacks, hispanics, and women are going to die," said Bush, "but I promise you we are going to kill at least 5,000 Iraqis for every one of you who buys it, probably more like 10,000." This statement met no applause.

"Through my Poppy's investments and my repeal of the estate tax, I figure I'll come out of this war a clean $100 million richer, especially if Poppy croaks in 2010. I just wanted to give you all a heartfelt 'thanks' from me and my brothers. We really appreciate you all volunteering to help us out like this," Bush concluded.

Following the standard practice, Bush was not arrested for desertion, and soldiers were required to salute the cowardly bastard.

The death penalty is stupid. We need those people. We need to hear from them years later. What do they think now? Thirty years from now, we will miss Timothy McVeigh.

The desire for murder on the part of relative's of murder victims is no reason to kill someone. The death penalty should be removed to remove the temptation: there is no honor in wanting someone killed. It's easy to be angry and wish someone dead, but it is always a sin -- the wrong choice. Eliminating the death penalty allows victims' relatives not to become obsessed with their sin. Life in prison is punishment, and entirely appropriate for the McVeighs of the world.

"You said we're headed to war in Iraq. I don't know why you say that. I'm the person who gets to decide, not you." George "I'm the Commander" Bush
