News - The early morning of Nov. 19 will be our last chance to see a fantastic meteor storm for a while: http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/meteors/article_719_1.asp

Comment - This article talks about the Nov. 19 Leonids meteor storm, with up to thousands of meteors an hour. This goes on for 3-4 years in a row about three times a century. 2002 is the last year in this 3-4 year cycle.

A full Moon will spoil some of the seeing, but with any luck there should still be plenty of meteors visible. Last year we got fogged out in the Lansing area. This year will probably be rain or snow.

News - Everything you ever wanted to know about The Muppets Show: http://www.kermitage.com/

Comment - The show has been in reruns for so long that I forgot it only had a five year run, from 1976-81. It's fun to look at who helped host the show, and the character guides. I seem to remember watching lots of the reruns with Vanessa.
