News - Table-top racers are teeny, tiny Radio Controlled (RC) race cars: http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/microsizer-review.html

Comment - This review is from a Website called The Gadgeteer (http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/). It has reviews, or links to reviews, of gadgets like the table-top racers and this Tennis Scorer watch by Dunlop (http://store.yahoo.com/computergear/duntenorwat.html ).

News - Astronomers think our universe is just one of many: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/29/science/space/29COSM.html

Comment - Pretty mind-boggling article. Excerpt: "Some cosmologists now say the realm we call the observable universe - roughly 14 billion light-years deep of galaxies and stars - could be only a small patch of a vast bubble or "pocket" in a much vaster ensemble bred endlessly in a chain of big bangs."

Fun stuff to think about when I'm gazing through my telescope. Along with the fact that a recent article in Sky and Telescope points out that only about 15% of the universe is detectable energy and matter. The other 85% is so-far undetectable and unknown "dark" matter.
