News - Oh, great. North Koreans admit they have a nuclear weapons program: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/17/international/asia/17KORE.html

Comment - I guess the Clinton administration's program of bribing the N. Koreans into stopping their weapons research worked pretty well, huh?

Unclear at this point if they actually have weapons of mass destruction. But it is certainly belligerent of them to admit they have a program. Almost like they are daring us to do something about it. I hope Bush and his team figures something out.

News - This is a cute cartoon that translates hip-hop slang: http://www.mortco.azit.com/82.html

Comment - Jennifer and I saw "Brown Sugar" at the movies last night. It takes place in hip hop society, which is so alien to my lifestyle that it might as well have been on another planet. Not that it was bad...the movie portrays hip hop as fun, exciting, urban and young. Just like me! (yeah, right).
