News - Another crazy telescope: http://www.amerispace.net/eagle.html

Comment - A one-meter (that's about 39-inches) telescope that's designed for police and military surveillance. It's on a trailer and supposedly set's up at the push of a button so you can spy on drug smugglers. Still, if it really works, it should be pointable up into the sky to look at stars.

I had the ETX out last night to look at the Moon and the Double Cluster in Perseus. I've never had so much trouble with unsteady seeing. I think it's the warm air coming off house roofs and from chimneys. In fact, I could tell when the furnace kicked on in the house across the street because the image of the Moon shimmered like it was underwater. I guess next time I'll try observing out at Joe and Sarah's.

News - Brandon and Mark have their music posted: http://www.mp3.com.au/artist.asp?id™24

Comment - I can't access this link at work but I'll check it out from home. Brandon knows I'm not a big fan of techno music, but the recent stuff he and Mark have been doing is pretty listenable. Good job, son!
