QUOTE OF THE DAY
"A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes."
- - Mark Twain
RHINO HERE: Truth, rightousness and the American way. My Dad, being a decorated World War 2 vet, believed, and taught me, "That's what America is all about". I wish it were true, but sadly, I couldn't teach that to my kids. Truth should be simple. Kids on the playground know who cheats and who doesn't. But how do we know what's true anymore given the strangle hold that corporate interests have on "the people's representatives" and the media who uses "the people's broadcast airwaves"?
There is a news source that pride's itself on getting the truth out to the people. They call themselves "TRUTH OUT" and are available on the web at:
http://www.truthout.org
They collect and distribute articles from an array of sources. The article below entitled, "20 Things We've Learned Nearly a Year After 9/11" is a powerful overview of where Shrub & Company have been leading America. It's not a pretty picture, but in this day and age, if you want to know the truth, politically speaking, you can't expect beauty. Good thing Mother Nature still provides us with a beautiful sunrise every morning and so many other simple miracles each day. I wonder what miracles are in store next election day? A Rhino can hope can't he?
