Not so spooky

The quiet wasn't all that spooky stravosthewonderchicken. We were all out in our back yards building lifters, didn't you get the notice?

Putting the kibosh on kibosh

Steven was able to fill me on the etymology of kibosh. Thanks Steven! Although after hearing the explaination I may never use the word again.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's day had to be postponed until next weekend in the Gregorio household. Reilly woke up a 2AM Sunday morning throwing up. He spent the rest of his waking hours this weekend in my arms. By this evening he was doing better but his illness put the kibosh on Lynne's breakfast in bed.

I did spend some time Saturday adding more functionality to my news aggregator and by the end of next weekend should be looking for some beta testers. Radio users in particular may want to try it out as a remote news tool, if you choose to publish your subscription list then it appears as the file mySubscriptions.opml in the gems directory of your blog. My news aggregator can read that opml format, which is useful since Radio can only be installed on one computer and you may want to keep up on the news when away from that machine.

I wonder what the etymology of kibosh is...
