Harry Caray - you may disagree with the assessment of Bob Costas, but Tony Pierce's description of the great Cubs announcer sparkles.  Tony's blog is simply one of the best things on the web.

Eldred week here on the Blawg Channel - Yes, we all know that tomorrow the Eldred case is going to be argued before the Supreme Court.  And we know that the fate of the Western world hangs in the balance, or at least the fortunes of the Disney company, which some take to be the embodiment of Western culture.  Supposedly, according to a lot of the chatter you hear, if Lessig wins then Mickey Mouse will pass into the public domain and we'll all be free to do stuff with Mickey that we haven't been able to do before.  Right?  Well, even if the copyright protection expires, what about the Trademark protection asks Marty Schwimmer?

Great Music - all digitized, all the time -  So I'm looking for this album by Santana, which I think is one of the greatest albums ever.  Amazon doesn't seem to even have it, and CD Now only has it in tape.  Is it possible that it is not available in CD?  Is there a site that will tell you if an album is available in CD?
