The Ski Boy and I just watched "Blow Dry" a small British movie attempting to be quirky about the British National Hairdressing Championships. Alan Rickman, Natasha Richardson, and Josh Hartnett (yes - Songya - he's very cute).  A little too "heartwarming" but still funny enough to be worth an effort. The rainbow colored sheep are hilarious.

Westchester Lagoon Ice Classic Update:

  • The ice is still in the Lagoon. So my guess of May 2nd flops.
  • The ice looks very rotten.
  • Because I've been sick, I haven't had a chance to perform a detailed inspection of the ice.

I got an out-of-the-blue phone call tonight from Marilyn Ogden - an old buddy and former co-worker who now lives in hot hot hot Phoenix. She is livin the good (but busy) life.

Back bloggin tonight. A work around has been devised so we can now post again. yea! I'm surprised at how addicted I've become to the whole blogging thing.

I'm still sick - I appear to have been nailed by the Anchorage epidemic of Influenza B.

I'm depressed - this Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromylagia stuff has nailed my immune system for the past year and a half. I am so tired of being sick - I'm not dependable. I'm no fun. sigh...
