Westchester Lagoon Ice Classic update: This afternoon, Peter and I performed a very scientific test to determine ice strength and thickness. Peter threw a nice sized rock high up into the air and then we watched as it fell towards the ice (for all you physics types: F=ma). The rock hit the ice and bounced. Excellent news on the Jasper front. He's almost completely recovered. He looks a hundred percent better than yesterday morning. Lots of fluids and TLC from both Pet Emergency and Hillside Pet Clinic made all the difference. All his tests came back fine. As the vet at Pet Emergency said, "He still has a few good years left." Yea! Apparently Jasper was quite the handsome gentleman. He charmed both the folks at Pet Emergency and Hillside. They all commented on what a lover he is. Which he is. Evidently he spent a good part of the past two days being cuddled and carried around. A slightly fuzzy picture of a happy-to-be-home fuzzy cat. 7:29:21 PM    comment []
