There was some good news out of the Alaska election:
- We voted down the constitutional convention. That was very good. So many of our leaders are mental midgets that the last thing we need to do is open up our State constitution to their inept and dangerous meddling.
- We voted down the Capitol move for what has to be the third time. The move would be a total boondoggle. However, if we were to move the Capitol, I'd like to move it to Fairbanks. 40 below zero would certainly discourage long sessions.
- Hollis French beat Dave Donley! Yes! One very good piece of electoral news!

Another depressing bit of news - the catch all road bond passed that puts the Bragaw extension smack dab through Bicenntenial Park. That so sucks...It's been voted down several times by Anchorage residents. But our dumb creepy mayor slid it in on an omnibus statewide road bond ballot measure and it passed. It's my hope that it will get the crap litigated out of it and will never happen.

I am soooooo depressed over the Alaska governor's election. Even though deep down I expected Frank The Bank to win, I thought it would be close. I did not expect a blowout. sigh...I guess Phil voted more early and often than I did....
