This is a photo of the table full of pictures from Dad's life - from the time he married my Mom, through his marriage to Mei-ling, up to just a few months ago. It was a wonderful display.

Dad was actually good looking - quite a charming devil.

Dad's very diverse progeny.

From left to right, Leland, Songya, and me.

Here's Carl Duncan, Dad's oldest friend and a complete dear with Hsiu-Ming, Mei-Ling's brother who is a Slat Rat favorite.

Carl said last night, "David Kesler was the joy of my life."

Carl also has known me since I was a squirt. Last night, he paid me the cutest compliment:

"Even at age four, you were a sharp little outfit."

I'm back in my hotel room watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Given today's cultural mix at Dad's wake, this movie somehow seems appropriate.

We had Dad Family. We had Chinese. We had Old Dear Friends. We had Atheists. We had Democrats.

My favorite overheard query was "Are you a democrat or an atheist?"
