It basically thundered, lightninged, and poured all day long. Which was really just fine with me. I snoozed my way through most of the storm. Do I know how to have a great vacation or what!!!
But, tomorrow I should hopefully start to come alive. Tomorrow morning (or early afternoon I'm still stuck in hibernation mode), Peter and I are driving down to Ft. Meyers to visit his sister, Susie.
I'm hoping to do some geocaching and birding along the way. Florida is such a fabulous place to bird. Heck, even though I've barely made it off the back patio in the past two days, I've seen Sandhill cranes, GBHs (great blue heron), a Great Egret, White Ibisis (Ibi?), Tricolored Herons, and Cattle Egrets. And that's without even leaving the chaise lounge.
