Snake Identification A fellow geocacher sent me a note, yesterday's snake was an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. So, as a result of geocaching I've added both the Western Diamondback and Eastern Diamondback to my Reptile life list. That's a positive. I think. 4:58:29 PM    comment []

Another Day Stumbling Around in the Florida Boonies Peter and I spent most of the day in the Great Florida Outdoors. A little shopping on St. Armand and a lot of geocaching - actually only two geocaches, but they each took some time. Long walks through a couple of pretty nifty nature preserves. Oh, and it was HOT. We had no problem with our first cache, the Lido Beach cache. But we could not find our second cache, Quick Point. We suspect the cache has walked. A Great Blue Heron posing on a picnic table.
