One my way home from the dance performance, I spotted a young bull moose (most likely a two year old) in the neighbor's yard. This little guy looks like he's wearing white tights on his rear legs.

Sorry about the photo quality - my cell phone is a .6 megapixel camera. Not real zippy. But, it's better than nothing. Well, almost better than nothing.

I just got in from the Concert Association's presentation of the Australian Dance Theatre in HELD.

Mom said she needed a whole new vocabulary to describe the performance. Here's my list of adjectives: Acid. Techno. Goth. Anime. Gender Bender. Black. Lace. Athleticism. Youth. Energy. Grace. Form.

And I haven't even mentioned the multimedia. Photographer Lois Greenfield is on stage and taking still photos as the dancers dance. The photos are immediately projected on stage and become part of the performance. The photos are stunning and they add an amazing dimension to the performance. Multimedia can be self indulgent crap or it can take a piece of art and move it to the next level. Greenfield's photography and participation in the performance is transcendent.

Great stuff!

Although I admit I had to take advil when I got home - the throbbing acid techno rock and the strobe lights thumped my poor head.
