The third record high day in a row!!!
The official high was 64 degrees. However, this evening, Henry II said it was 70 degrees - and Henry's thermometer is quite accurate.
Yesterday's high was 66 degrees. Not only a record for that day, but an all time high for April. Yesterday, it was warmer in Anchorage than it was in LA.
So, what's the impact of all this global warming on the 4th Annual Westchester Lagoon Ice Classic?
Well, the ice is still in the Lagoon. But we lost a ton today. 60% of the Lagoon is now ice free. But we still have 40% to go.
Below is the updated standings table. Carol got zotzed out today. Alix and Steve are up for tomorrow. My guess is that Friday or Saturday will be the day!!!!
