Hands down, the best news of the week has to be announcement that the Ivory Billed Woodpecker lives!

YARH (Yet Another Record High) - today's high was 67 degrees.

What does that mean for the ice? Well a ton of ice went out today, but there's still a significant amount left. That being said, the leading edge of the ice, is the consistency of a Slushy. Or as Peter said, "a margarita!".

My bet is the ice will go out by late tomorrow or Saturday for sure!

Today's standings are below. Alix and Steve lost out today. Cory is up tomorrow and Mom and Nicole are up for Saturday. Sandra lobbied me heavily at work today - she's part of the mob that guessed May 2nd. Sandra tried to declare that if there is even one stray ice cube left in the lagoon, the ice is not out.

Nice try Sandra.

Anyhoo, here are the standings and below the standings is a picture taken just an hour ago.
