As sort of a stress outlet, I seem to be doing a great deal of Geocaching these days. It's fun. It's not life or death, there are no bridges involved, and there are no deadlines.
For example, tonight, I did three caches: one downtown on the park strip, one on the top of the Penny's Parking Garage and one in a wetlands area (the Ski Boy helped me on the last one).
Totally fun and there's a reward at the end of each cache hunt. For example, this evening, I snagged a plastic figurine of one of the Dancing Raisins. Now, if that's not priceless, I don't know what is!

A few minutes ago, I was taking my morning shower and listening to NPR. They were reporting on the afternoon smoke from St. Peter's - the smoke appeared to be grey and no bells were ringing.
I puttered on with my shower.
But then the reporter broke in another story and said "The smoke is white and the bells are ringing. A new pope has been elected."
All while I was in the shower.
As I type, we don't yet who the pope is. I'd also be posting this live. But our cable modem seems to be down this morning. sigh...
