Sunday, the Tigester and I did a new geocache, Loompaland up at Powerline Pass. It was a magnificient day - cold, clear, lots of snow and moose, and a phenomenal Fata Morgana.
I'm going to do a separate Fata posting, but here's a batch of other pictures:
Tigey in the deep snow. He wants snow shoes for Christmas!
Moose guarding the cache - they were literally at ground zero. BTW, Tige did very well with the moose. Not a single bark.
The cache. I had to shinny out on to the branch to actually get to the cache. Short people like me and ooompa loompas are definitely at a disadvantage.
The obligatory geocaching self portrait. It is really tough to get me, Tige, and the cache in the picture. I failed with this shot - I just got Tige and me.
Tige on the trail home. My mitten is in the background. Also - I didn't know it at the time, but a man and his dog were jogging up right behind us. Tige was great - he didn't growl, jump or do anything untoward. Whew...
