Last Sunday, it was wonderfully cold and clear. Way better than the current Anchorage conditions of 40 degrees and the snow all rained away. The cross country ski races scheduled for this weekend had to be cancelled.
Fortunately, the Ski Boy and I are in Seattle, so we missed the totally cruddy weather.
Anyhoo, as I mentioned, the Fata Morgana on Sunday was absolutely breathtaking.
As promised, here are a few pictures. They're much more striking than the pictures I took in October, but I still really need a big wide lens to do justice to this phenomena!
