The Zeytuna’s gourmet shop across the street (one of three on John street within two blocks of each other) has a restaurant in the basement that seems to double as a night club, starting at about 6:30 or 7:00.

If you dig long enough through the Haddon House bottled olives above the olive bar, you may be able to find Spanish Olives stuffed with almonds. Yum! I like to eat mine with chopstcks. Spoons are too clumsy, and forks bruise the olives.

Those truffles I like that that were gone for a while seem to be back. Still as expensive as ever: 6.98. At least they’re not taxed, or at least I don’t think they are.

Olive spread with garlic and stuff: tappena (sp?), over Italian hero bread.

From down the street, a honey-mustard chicken sandwich.

Posting from work. How wretched is that?

Conducting performance tests now so only the early-morning employees in Asia (I think) will feel the hit. Take that!

Crow but I need to stop drinking caffeine-laden beverages at ten at night.

Doesn’t matter, as I will be doing a late night performance test and am going to John St at 3:00 pm tomorrow.

Worms.

Uh oh. Bin Chen (aka Yardsale) has closed out his Confessionalism weblog. Apparently some people geeked his friend, Nicky, after seeing one of her pictures on his site posted to a forum site.

How bad is that? She’s really pretty, but trying to contact her based on some pictures and a documented rocky relationship with Bin? Come on.
