UN slams Canada over assassin National Post (subscription), Canada - Although it took the Canadian government nine years to deport Iranian intelligence agent Mansour Ahani, the UN Human Rights Committee ruled that Ottawa was too quick to send him back to Tehran in 2002.
Before coming to Toronto, in 1991 Ahani had trained with an Iranian government hit squad. A year after his arrival, he travelled to Italy on a fake passport to take part in the attempted assassination of an Iranian dissident.

I had a chance to listen to the Ed's Back rap piece while on CJOB this morning.
It is a video that he did for the TV show "This Hour has 22 Minutes". Of course on radio we were only able to play the soundtrack, and maybe we were less than nice to the former NDP leader. You can judge for yourself if the video adds anything to the experience here.
I really only went to buy a coffee at the Tim Hortons, it is camp day, Larry was on the air, and he and I talked about the Ed's Back rap.
