Kinda Victorious 

EFF pimps X-Box cracker 'victory'. Not getting enough attention lately [The Register]

Well, it's nice to know that the DMCA hasn't made doing security research totally impossible.  You just have to have a dozen lawyers looking over your shoulder at all times.  Great.

I'd like to see some legal analysis of this.  Did Microsoft decide not to proceed because they had no case, or because they didn't want the bad PR?

RIAA And Fair In The Same Sentence

Oh, you have got to be kidding.  The RIAA press release has the gall to claim that its licensing agreements "represented rates born by a fair market."  Fair market?  They're kidding, right?
