 Monday, January 13, 20032002 Winners and Losers in Digital Media 2002 MP3 Winners and Losers "MP3newswire.net is running their annual losers and winners list in digital media." [Slashdot] These are good choices, and worth reading for the impressive quantity of links alone. "Copy Protected CDs" rank number five on the losers list, backed up by a nice little story about a CD purchaser who was dismayed to discover her new Peter Gabriel CD wouldn't play in her computer at work. Frustrated, she downloaded the album from the Internet, returned the CD to the store, and vowed, "I won't make that mistake again." 6:23:38 PM
