Zen and Now
Later this afternoon I'll head up the hill to Mount Madonna Center for my semi-annual retreat with Tenshin Reb Anderson, Senior Dharma Teacher from San Francisco Zen Center. Reb appears at MMC twice a year to teach and meditate with a group comprising upwards of 50 practitioners.
The focus this weekend is karma, the frequently misunderstood concept of cause and effect in Buddhist philosophy. I'll report more when I return Sunday. Yes, I know it's Mother's Day.
