Family Affairs
A summer column about being liberated from our children. This week has been even more extreme, with Lisa and Elijah and Sydney in Vermont and New Jersey. They come home today, my tail is wagging. I got a lot of work done this week, and did not revert completely to a savage state in my living conditions, although I did find myself drinking wine out of the bottle in front of the TV the other night. Yesterday I played (bad) golf with Pete Tannenbaum, a friend since kindergarten, his cousin Sig, and Pete's fraternity brother from Duke, Magod, who now practices medicine in G'boro. Today: laundry.
