Home again, I like to be here when I can. The Delta terminal at LGA is about as hellish as Philly and Sea-Tac. The dog was glad to see me, and my sister is here on her way to pick up her girls from camp (she seemed glad to see me, too.)

Hoggard points to local politico Jeff Thigpen's campaign pseudo-blog. He's right, Jeff: this is a first-person medium, not a press-release machine. Let's hear from you, not about you...and comments are a must for a campaign blog, too.

I am in a Starbucks for the first time in my life.

I haven't been making a statement in avoiding the ubiquitous chain, I just tend to drink my coffee at home, and prefer local joints when I do need to dose on the run. But here I am, in need of both caffeine and broadband, and here's a Starbucks at 29th and Park, hard by the craptastic broadband free hotel in which I am ensconced...so I can read the N&R online and try to figure out what this hurricane is going to do to my trip home tonight...
