100 things about me

"A person should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful that God has implanted in the human soul." - Goethe

When the Spam Hits the Blogs
When the Spam Hits the Blogs. The latest trick of bulk e-mail marketers is to hit the referral logs of popular weblogs, and the bloggers are hopping mad. By Michelle Delio. [Wired News]

I give up.  I've spent all morning working on a table and border for my links on the left and after all that work, I've lost it.  The first time I inserted the code, everything to the left of the page slid down about 4 inches, and while trying to correct that, Scott managed to turn my entire background pooltable green.  omg.  Luckily I had saved my original homepage template here on the desktop in case of a crisis - but did I save the work I did on my new table??? No sireeee bob!!  So, I quit.  Maybe another day, but this damn code stuff drives me friggin' crazy.  I should just learn to be content with what I have.  Yeah, right.

AND, I forgot to set the clock back an hour last night, so I was up at 5:30 AM - thank you Microsoft for reminding me.  It's only 11:00 AM?  I've done a day's work already!  Washed three loads of clothes, washed the dishes, mopped the kitchen floor, cleaned the front bathroom (except the tub which I firmly believe is Becca's responsibility which means the mildew is gonna keep creeping around the edges) and halfway made up the bed.  I'm tired, hot and hungry and there's nothing to eat except yogurt, and I have $1 in my wallet  and 3 cigarettes left.  Is it that time of the month?? You bet your bottom dollar it is.  Maybe I'm finally getting over this pneumonia - I feel like kicking ass (actually I've never kicked anyone's ass - I am such a wimp).  But I can stomp my feet and pout with the best of 'em.

Reminds me of someone's screenname I saw once - iamsoambivalent.

Ok, I feel better now.  Somewhat....  :)
