I'm not peachy

I've included an Ebay button on the right that goes directly to my auctions.  What a handy little thing to have!  Now I can check my auctions directly from my weblog without having to open another window.  Check it out :)

I suppose I should feel guilty for wasting such a beautiful day by staying indoors, but I haven't had the least bit of motivation to go out.  The only thing I can think of that might possibly get me out of this house today is a trip to Dairy Queen for a banana split.  And I don't think that's gonna happen lol

Just woke from a luxurious 1-hour nap and found Scott at the computer looking for wedding music.  Carrie's given him a list:

• Listen to Our Hearts
• Perfect Unity
• Parent's Prayer

She has someone to sing and is looking for the accompanying instrumentals.  Oh, and I purchased a floral and beaded comb for her veil.  Also, she told me today she'd figured out how to save $200 on the wedding invitations by not having separate RSVP cards printed.  She wants to have the RSVP printed on the invitations, which will save postage and 200 cards.  Smart kid.  She's asking what I want wear...what color etc., etc.  I proposed wearing black.  I look good in black.  I look thinner in black.  She's not going for it.  Wants me in peach.   I look washed out in peach.  I dread the thought of having to buy a dress I'll most likely never in my lifetime wear again.  Ugh.  I'll be glad when it's all over.  One thing's for sure...I will not wear peach!  I'd eat one right now if it were in front of me, though ;)

Suddenly Sunday

Is it Sunday so soon?  What happened to Saturday?   I want another Saturday!
The weather yesterday was picture-perfect.  Now, this is what I call Spring!  Today promises to be a repeat, and I can't believe I slept until nearly 8 AM.  I'm usually up at the crack of dawn; but I slept so peacefully even the puppy scratching at the bedroom door didn't phase me.  All I remember is punching Scott in the ribs (gently) and mumbling something about the dog wanting out - and I was out like a light once again.   So, here I sit with my first cup of coffee and Sugar curled up in my lap purring away like there's no tomorrow.

I spent part of yesterday listing a few more auction items.  As I'm writing this, I'm looking at a very pretty pottery vase on my shelf with a potter's mark on the bottom I'm not familiar with.  I'd love to list it on Ebay, but I need to find out more about it first.  Could be worth $10, could be worth $100 - I have no clue.   Wish the Antiques Roadshow would come to my town...
