This story talks about the need to take excess capacity out of the market to drive prices up for telecoms services. i.e. all that lovely bandwidth will be rationed to make us pay more for it. I'm not sure I like this.

Gave some valuable online time to the kids yesterday at the Harry Potter website where they designed an owl and did some Quidditch training. Lots of shockwave and moving images and sounds - very multimedia. I don't really like giving TimeWarnerAOL my time or attention but I have to admit that the site is almost as good as the books and the movie. I heard that the writer, J.K. Rowlings was a struggling single parent until she dreamed up Harry Potter - she must be laughing.
