InfoWorld carries the news that Microsoft updates Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player 9 series (download here) includes FastStreaming, song metadata, auto playlists, improved sound quality, and a new jukebox feature. All this for Windows machines; on Mac, Windows Media Player is still back at v7.1.
