Bill Meikle has updated vrhotwires to v1.4 with 6 new tools:
-added new 'screensaver' tool...
-added new 'qt special effects' tool (for non-vr movies)
-added new 'transition effects' tool... (for non-vr movies)
-added new 'skin track' tool
-added new tool for adding blank midi tracks...
-added new 'miam' tool...
VRhotwires is a tool that enables you to add "wired actions" to a QuickTime VR movie.

British Pathe has announced that it is converting its vast film archive into QuickTime format. The 3,500 hour archive covers news, sports, social history, and entertainment from 1896 to 1970. Wired has a story on it; BP says it is the largest online news archive.
