DesktopLinux has the news of CodeWeavers announcement of a new version of the CrossOver plugin which adds support for ActiveX plugins.

CrossOver is a Windows-to-Linux adapter which enables Linux users to access content such as QuickTime that requires a plugin or ActiveX control normally only available to Windows and Mac users. CrossOver v1.2 supports many browsers including Netscape, Mozilla, Konquerer, and Opera; and costs $24.95

Purpose
