"Swinging in District 7"

The godfather of the penguin movement in Guilford County must have come up with a more creative headline than that for this Thursday's Rhino coverage of the District 7 county commissioners race.  When libertarians run their own paper I guess they can write the headlines and put front page mug shtos of their own candidates they are backing in the elections.

Scott Yost's reportage was essentially accurate and looks to have survived most of John Hammer's editing.  Tomorrow night though at the Woman forum at the City Club I intend to make the case for how Liberarians can appeal to traditionally (honest*) Democratic voters as well and not just GOPers as Scott (or John) suggested in the story.

I would also like to confirm that yes, I am running to win, AND I believe that I have already reached the point of being a factor in the race.

*Had to throw the word honest in there, since we have Mike Barber running as a Democrat and Roger Cotten running as a Republican.

Mike Binker has his N&R write-up on the District 7 race due out any day now.
