heads-up thanks to Steve Hilton - Chair, Wake County LP More Libertarian "Polling" data The LPNC has a love-hate relationship with the John Locke Foundation. Today we are feeling dissed again by its director John Hood (or at least the agents he contracts to.) The LP is the ONLY third party on the ballot in North Carolina and yet here is how we are treated in the write up of the JLF "Agenda 2004 poll": The Agenda 2004 poll found an eight-point lead for Republican George W. Bush over John Kerry, with the president receiving 48 percent to Kerry’s 40 percent. Two percent supported another candidate and 8 percent were not sure. In the U.S. Senate race, the poll found a tight race between Republican Richard Burr (43 percent) and Democrat Erskine Bowles (42 percent), with 5 percent supporting another candidate and 8 percent unsure. Again, Rodney Dangerfield casts his shadow on the LPNC and all those in our faithful band who toil in obscurity to be recognized below asterisk status as merely "another candidate." 8:39:37 AM![]() |
