Drawing Tony. The Guardian cartoonist Steve Bell looks back at the years spent with a mad-eyed and bambified PM. Caricaturing him has been fairly straightforward, once I'd discovered the secret of his one mad (left) eye, furrowed brow and bland, twinkly (right) eye. He is blessed with prominent features which one can satisfyingly apply to any animal or object, be it dog, dalek or electricity pylon. This gives one tremendous scope for extended visual metaphor.
