RoamAD: Cellular WiFi
I just stumbled across this company, RoamAD networks who have built a technology that allows for wide-area networks using WiFi, or 802.11b. The implications of this are significant, as it will enable Cellular WiFi using existing 802.11b devices and standards. Who will be the first network operators to offer services using this platform?
