I picked up this news from CNet, who reported that Intel's communication-oriented venture fund plans to invest $150M in WiFi related startups. Interesting that the article notes that a) WiFi growth appears to be one of the few bright lights in a rather dim tech economy (what Jon Udell described as "sprouts of green" in an otherwise barren land), and b) that the Intel folks believe that WiFi growth is happening in spite of industry efforts.
