Astronomical Surface Decorations on Ceramics, Mesopotamia, part IVc OK, I sent off a missive to the British Museum to see if they have any additonal information on the (ceramic?) Sumerian planisphere. It was quite exciting to have both the drawing of the planisphere by L.W. King and the astronomical software Celestia showing the same sky.  Both of them attempts by humans to record and understand that which is around them. ...and there may be others... 1:40:09 PM
