Astronomical Decoration on Ceramics, Greek part II There are depictions of the Muses, who were associated with astronomy, as well as the arts. Other figures associated with astronomy include various Greek gods. These figures were put on pottery. For instance, Khrysomallos was a flying, talking ram famed for his brilliant golden fleece. This ram was put up into the stars and became the constellation Aries. He was also used as decoratation on a pot. Perhaps we will find figures related to astronomy in postions that reflect star charts as decorations on pottery?  Perhaps this research is too much to ask of the Internet? 12:40:51 PM
