Astronomical Decoration on Ceramics, Greek part VII

As with the other civilizations I've looked at, astronomical decoration on ceramics is few and far between. While there are quite few reasons for this, and indeed, Greek decorations representing gods do allude to constellations, I am dissapointed there is not the direct representaion I was hoping for.

I do hold out hope for
Raimondo Ferrario's presentation; Greek Constellations in Thales Times - Suggesting an astronomical reading of animal friezes on archaic Greek vase painting. I just need to get my hands on it, or similar literature.

Next up, Mesoamerica! We'll take a look at Olmec, Zapotec Mayan, Aztec, and others.

Things may be looking up.
